“HAMLETMACHINE” by Heiner Müller
The scenography mirrors the space of the spectators. Puppets are sitting in spectators’ chairs looking at us. An out of place fridge is playing the role of the ice age. The room gets more and more chaotic until the end where the actors leave the space through a circular metal whole at the rear wall. The whole is a tube. The tube enters the space accompanied with a roaring sound. Silence. Then two black dogs come running towards us inside the tube, jump out and continue up the aisle between the spectators and leave the theatre. Lights out.
