WORKING WITH “TARTUFFE”

The work with “TARTUFFE” was special in the sense that we first explored many different architectural spaces representing the same concept; “everything was taken away except from an extreme religious symbol: the confessional”. – Finally I came to the conclusion that this exploration became purely an aesthetickal research. In order to state the concept clearly I take the whole architectural space away and replace it with a non realistic enlarged symbol of religious faith; the imprint of the suffering Christ.
